The 2011 Smart Energy Expo Newcastle was the biggest and best yet combining not only the outstanding ever growing Trade Expo and our very popular expert speakers forum, the event was timed for the weekend prior to the 2011 NSW State Government elections. The event showcased a Newcastle Candidates Forum which was specifically targeted to climate change solutions providing candidates and the community an opportunity to engage on this most critical issue.
The Expo itself was an enormous success with the overwhelming feedback being that a new venue was needed due to the growing size and popularity of the event. Whilst we made it work once again in Newcastle’s City Hall, and visitors and exhibitors had nothing but praise for the event, it was clear that a new home was needed. So the search began, again …
The 2012 event is slated to be by far the biggest and best Smart Energy Expo yet with a move to the Exhibition Centre in the grounds of the Newcastle Entertainment Centre , Broadmeadow. There will be space available to showcase all that is smart about the energy solutions available and emerging to combat the threat of climate change. Don’t miss it!
